Let’s Work Together
-
Start by completing the new client inquiry form. I’ll reach out via email in 1-2 business days to set up a 15-minute Discovery Call.
During our Discovery Call, I’ll ask a few questions to better understand what you are looking for and how we can work best together.
Once you decide to be a new client, I will send you a link to a secure patient portal where you can access the intake forms and the telehealth platform (if needed).

Therapy is all about creating a true partnership for change. In therapy, we will establish a trusting relationship where you will have the freedom to talk and process your most challenging experiences and feelings. We will talk about what you are struggling with. At times, therapy will be more directive. I will teach you helpful strategies to manage emotions and reframe negative thoughts. In other sessions, I will listen and give you the space you need to find the words for what you are feeling.
The length of therapy often depends on the reason you are seeking treatment. Each person heals and grows at different paces. Therapy can last anywhere from 6 months to a year on average or continue for longer. I am committed to helping you for however long you may need.

Initial Evaluation: $325
Individual 45-Minute Session: $225Cash, check, credit card, and HSA is accepted. Payment is due at time of service.
You will be given a Superbill to submit to your insurance if you have out-of-network coverage. Prior to meeting, it is important to call your insurance company to determine your coverage. Here are questions that can be helpful to ask:
Do I have a deductible? If so, how much has been met? When does my deductible start up again?
How much of the fee will be covered with my out-of-network benefits? What will my reimbursement look like?
Do I have an out-of-pocket maximum, and if so, what is it?
Do I need authorization to see a therapist?
How many sessions per year will be covered?
How do I submit for reimbursement?
In compliance with the No Surprises Act that was enacted on January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers must notify clients of their rights and protections against "surprise billing". This Act requires that you are notified of your federally protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by an out-of-network provider, if you are uninsured, or if you elect not to use your insurance.https://www.cms.gov/medical-bill-rights for more information.
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your therapy will cost. Click here https://www.cms.gov/medical-bill-rights for more information.

Our first session is 75 minutes. During this time, I will be asking you questions to build a foundation from which our work will be built. We will discuss your family history, current stressors, mood, health concerns, and other aspects of your life. I want to get a sense of your strengths and values. I also ask like to learn about your cultural, and religious background and family dynamics. Toward the end of our first session, we will identify goals to work on and create a plan for moving forward.
-
During our 45-minute follow-up sessions, we will explore the challenges you encountered throughout the week. We will review the goals that you are working on. Often, I will ask you to practice the skills we have discussed before our next session. This important part of treatment helps us track your progress and master new skills.
-
I do my best to get back to clients the same day between the hours of 9 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday; however, this is not always possible given the nature of clinical work. Please do not wait for a callback if there is a true clinical emergency. Instead, call 911 or go to your local emergency room.
-
I will dedicate a standing appointment time for our session. This allows both therapist and client to have the comfort and consistency of knowing when the therapeutic work will occur. Regardless of the reason, cancellations that occur without 48-hour notice will incur the full session rate. Cancellations at the last minute or with frequency may indicate that there is another deeper issue impacting the therapeutic work and will be explored together in psychotherapy.
Cancellations that occur over the weekend for a Monday session are considered late cancellations. A Monday cancellation needs to be made before Friday at noon for it not to be considered late.
-
We will meet weekly for therapy. I do not offer sessions on an every-other-week basis or once a month. For therapy to be effective, consistency is key.

Therapy is a true process of collaboration. Together we will work towards your goals and monitor your progress. I will provide feedback regarding your progress, and you will set a final session date together. It is important to stop treatment in a meaningful way and to have a termination session, so you can have the opportunity to reflect on the work you have done and process the growth you have made toward your goals.
